Singapore’s homegrown nightclub brand Zouk is expanding its success. Following the opening of its 2021 Las Vegas club, two new clubs will open soon in Tokyo’s Ginza and Los Angeles’ West Hollywood.

Zouk Tokyo is targeted to open in the latter half of 2023. A partnership with Japanese brand Belluna, its grand plan is to create Japan’s first-ever building dedicated solely to lifestyle. The building’s 13 floors will house restaurants, karaoke rooms, a spa, a boutique hotel, and a multi-floor club helmed by Zouk.

The Tokyo branch will also feature a mezzanine lounge space that overlooks the main club and can be combined to become a ‘superclub’. It expects to be able to accommodate 800 to 1,000 people.

To boost the vibe, the décor centres around ‘forward-thinking’ audio, visual, and lighting effects. Japanese artists are reportedly assisting with the club’s façade and art pieces.

On the other hand, Angelenos can expect Zouk Los Angeles to light up West Hollywood’s nightlife in 2024. SamyBoy Entertainment – also known as sbe – is a private lifestyle-hospitality brand partnering with Zouk Group to launch the nightclub.

Zouk Los Angeles will take place in sbe’s current Nightingale club. A 6,500 sq ft space, it will be revamped by Christian Schulz and Studio Collection, a boutique design agency.

The Los Angeles arm will be Zouk’s second club in the U.S. The first opened in Las Vegas and achieved immense success and popularity thanks to its strategic location.
