JD Sports opens new store, its third and most advanced Sports Direct UK flagship store. This 50,000 sq. ft store emphasises Frasers Group’s “significant investment in high streets across the UK and Europe through its Elevation Strategy, to create leading retail destinations”.

Earlier, the brand’s first two stores in London and Birmingham earned huge success. Following that, the Arndale Centre store received a multi-million-pound investment. It aims to “bring a modern and engaging sports retail experience to the city.”   

The all-inclusive store is spread over five floors. It offers interactive experiences for consumers. There are dedicated areas for football and specialist sports. Alongside, the store entails distinguished men’s, women’s, and kidswear sections.    

They have a dedicated bra studio, golf putting green and Jordan basketball challenge. Moreover, there is a running gait analysis, and a newly launched running concept.

In addition, USC will have a dedicated area offering consumers access to exemplary premium lifestyle brands. The store also includes a Game section. It provides comprehensive knowledge of the latest games and accessories. 
 
As JD Sports opens new store, Frasers Group’s CEO Michael Murray expressed its importance. He stated that the flagship “marks another step towards strategic goal to become the number one sports retailer in EMEA. Each new store opening is pivotal to the next phase of growth for the group. We continue to bring the very best brands, environment, and experiences to the high street. Manchester is a significant location for the group.”
