Skechers Performance has added international sportswoman, Brooke Henderson (pictured), to its roster of elite Go Golf athletes. The LPGA champion has inked a multi-year global deal with the company, and will be featured in marketing campaigns for the brand’s footwear.

She joins Matt Kuchar, Russell Knox, Colin Montgomerie, Billy Andrade, Belen Mozo, and Ashlan Ramsey as ambassadors. At 18 years old, she returned to Canada after a solid Olympics. A month prior to Rio, she clinched her first major win at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

As an amateur in 2014, her tenth place tie for the 2014 Women’s US Open positioned her as the top ranking woman amateur golfer in the world. Since her professional debut in December that same year, the athlete has continued to climb with a current rank of number three in the world.

Henderson will be wearing Go Golf footwear as part of the sponsorship. Known for its innovative designs and award-winning comfort, the portfolio offers everyone, from leisurely players to professional golfers, a comfortable shoe that can be worn both on and off the course.

“We really love Brooke’s game, and her input is going to be so valuable. She’s just getting started and we’re thrilled to be partnering with her,” said Rick Higgins, Senior Vice President Merchandising and Marketing at Skechers Performance.
