Coty-owned cosmetic behemoth, Rimmel London, has rolled out a global search in partnership with singer-songwriter and brand ambassador, Rita Ora, to welcome on board a host of fresh faces to star in its beauty vlogging initiative titled, The London Look International Contest with Rita Ora.
Supporting the brand’s new direction, the move aims to uncover deserving talent and propel the winning entrants to stardom in conjunction with the marque. Successful contestants will serve as Rimmel online advocates responsible for expanding the footprint of the ‘London Look’ worldwide.
Launched on 21 December 2015, the marketing exercise has been activated to invite makeup aficionados from across the globe to showcase their personal styles and skills. The most unique video or picture renditions of the said ‘look’ will earn their originators a spot on the highly-coveted line-up.
Enrollers also stand to win a trip to London to meet Ora and work with the fashion icon alongside her team of Rimmel London experts at YouTube Space, the brand’s state-of-the-art video production studio. In addition, winners will be treated to the latest technologies to film the ultimate beauty tutorial.
Furthermore, participants with impressive displays invite the opportunity to become an international ambassador for Rimmel and could potentially earn themselves a celebrity-status contract to continue creating online content for the makeup retailer, in relation to its offerings. The contest ends 22 January 2016.
Interested candidates are welcome enter their respective creations and upload their submissions through the company’s official website or by following Rimmel and tagging each entry using the hashtag #LondonLook via Instagram and Twitter. Judging will be based on originality, style, and attitude.
