The takeover brings one of the industry’s most elite sports, entertainment, and luxury lifestyle firms into the MWWPR stable

MWWPR has acquired a majority stake in Berk Communications & Marketing Group, a full-service boutique public relations firm specialised in sports, entertainment, travel, lifestyle publicity, and event planning. The latter will serve as an independent subsidiary of former’s network and continue to operate under its own name.

“Berk’s magic lies in their ability to leverage an extensive database of A-list subscribers and close relationships with high-profile celebrity influencers and media to manage reputations, drive awareness about events and promotions, and elevate brands and personalities with their most critical audiences,” said Michael W. Kempner, President and CEO of MWWPR.

Berk founder, Ron Berkowitz, will remain President and Chief Executive Officer. Together, the pair will amplify MWWPR’s strategic communications offerings, strengthened by Berk’s aggressive publicity and event management expertise. Its clients include a multitude of blue-chip brands.
