The athlete will continue to play a leading role in the brand’s marketing campaigns to showcase its upcoming products and innovations

Unilever’s Degree Deodorant has moved to renew its partnership with pro basketball, Stephen Curry, through 2017 in conjunction with his capacity as brand ambassador. Per the extended agreement, the athlete will continue to play a leading role in the brand’s marketing campaigns to showcase its products and innovations.

“No one moves quite like Stephen, both on the court and in real life. His dedication to elevating his game naturally mirrors the commitment of Degree to deliver innovative products designed to respond to the needs of consumers, keeping them fresh with every move,” said Matthew McCarthy, Senior Director of Marketing at Unilever.

As part of the deal, the sports star will remain the centrepiece of a series of upcoming promotional and advertising initiatives, the first of which is set to debut in 2016. Since beginning their partnership two years ago, Curry has been included in numerous national broadcast spots as well as Degree’s digital, social, and online content.

“Degree believed in me early in my career, and I’m grateful for their continued support. Their focus on providing people with the protection they need as they move and get more out of life fits perfectly with my approach to continually better myself both on and off the court,” said Curry.
