WWE stars, Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, and Becky Lynch will main event WrestleMania 35 in front of a capacity crowd at MetLife Stadium.

WrestleMania will for the first time make a women’s match its main event. Called the Raw Women’s Championship, the tournament will feature Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch. Scheduled for 7 April, the challenges will commence at MetLife Stadium and stream live on WWE worldwide.

Current title holder, Rousey, is an Olympic medallist and the first female UFC champion. The athlete is also an actress and New York Times bestselling author. Seven-time WWE champion, Flair, is a former Division 1 volleyball player, philanthropist, and daughter of two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair.

Meanwhile, Women’s Royal Rumble winner of 2019, Lynch, is a two-time SmackDown champion. She was also the first woman to ever top ESPN’s WWE Power Rankings. During the 2016 WrestleMania 32, the network rebranded the Divas Division and debuted a whole new women’s championship title.

The evolution of its women has placed a greater focus on female WrestleMania performers, a move encompassing more prominent storylines and deeper character development to showcase athleticism, charisma, and star power. WWE held its first all-women’s pay-per-view event, Evolution, in October.
