An invitation to New Yorkers and Chicagoans to visit, the Arizona Office of Tourism has created a social media push dubbed Sunshine to Share.

The Arizona Office of Tourism has launched an upbeat social media campaign. Aptly themed Sunshine to Share, the push flaunts the arrival of spring. With an average of 313 sunny days per year and 70-degree winter temperatures, the state has sunshine to spare.

In response to posts about gloomy weather conditions, the tourism authority is spreading warmth among New Yorkers and Chicagoans to brighten their day. Turning commiserations into reasons to celebrate, Arizona is fixing the mood on Twitter and Instagram in real time.

From memes to food delivery gift cards to spa packages and resort stays, netizens can expect a celestial ‘climate change’ across the digital sphere. Further campaign incentives include airfare vouchers and tickets to the Cactus League Spring Training slated for 2020.

“We are excited to share the things that make us the best winter vacation destination in America. Warmth, adventure, and relaxation are what New Yorkers and Chicagoans need this time of year. This campaign is a personal invitation to visit our state,” said Debbie Johnson, Director, Arizona Office of Tourism.
