Rob Lowe reunites with Skechers after a 15-year hiatus. He will serve as the face of a new men’s footwear campaign which debuts in spring.

After a 15-year hiatus, television’s Rob Lowe has returned as the face of a new Skechers campaign featuring men’s footwear, which launches in spring. He last appeared in a 2001 ad push by the brand that also starred Hollywood actors Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Dillion.

Since becoming a household name following appearances in The Outsiders and St. Elmo’s Fire, his career has crossed genres and mediums, with special acclaim for his portrayal of Sam Seaborn on The West Wing as well as his roles in Behind the Candelabra and The Grinder.

The brand’s lifestyle footwear collections for men span a wide array of casual and sport styles featuring innovations such as the shoemaker’s Air-Cooled Memory Foam. The collections are available at Skechers outlets as well as departmental stores and retailers worldwide.

“Rob helped us introduce our dress casual collection to the world in 2001 and today, his appeal crosses the many generations who wear our footwear. He was a perfect fit then and makes perfect sense for us now,” said Michael Greenberg, President of Skechers.
