Marc Jacobs has reactivated #castmemarc to find its next social media sensation. The new casting call via video runs until 16 December.

Marc Jacobs Beauty has brought back its #castmemarc campaign to find the brand’s next social media sensation. Themed around authenticity and imperfection in beauty rather than airbrushed perfection, the opportunity is open to anyone aged 18 and above in all countries.

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their entries for consideration by posting a video to Instagram as well as sharing with the marque their person inspiration behind beauty, fashion, and why they man himself (Jacobs) should pick them for the highly-coveted role.

Each video submission must be accompanied with the #castmemarc hashtag, while the brand, @marcbeauty, tagged accordingly. For the casting call, videos will be accepted between now and 16 December 2016. In January next year, 10 finalists will be flown to New York City.

Those shortlisted get to record a makeup application video for the judging panel. The final three will be selected by Jacobs and be part of the #beautymarc how-to video series with special guest stars. The three will also receive a year’s supply of Marc Jacobs products.

In addition to merchandise from the brand, the three qualifying influencers can expect to receive invitations to each of the brand’s influencer events throughout 2017. They will also be afforded a wardrobe and accessories allowance.
