Luc Belaire, the premium fine wine brand, has launched ‘The World’s Largest Bottle of Bubbly’ – ZEUS. The magnificent bottle of champagne measures 45L, surpassing its now second-largest sibling, the 15L Luc Belaire Rose Nebuchadnezzar.

Named after the most powerful Greek god, aerospace engineers took seven years to create the Luc Belaire ZEUS. The bottle underwent a rigorous process of spin forming, machining, powder coating, internal coating, and pressure testing.

A mixture of creativity and metalworking, the Belaire ZEUS’ 45L size equals sixty regular bottles of Belaire. Furthermore, the bottle stands over 1 metre in height (3.5 feet) and weighs 72.5kg (160 pounds) when full. At least three people are required to carry and pour a bottle of Belaire ZEUS.

Given its sheer size and unmatched feat of engineering, the Belaire ZEUS is extremely limited. So far, only two bottles have been produced: the first with the signature Luc Belaire Rare Rosé and the second with Luc Belaire Luxe. There are approximately 3 billion bubbles in each bottle of Belaire ZEUS.

Before this, Luc Belaire’s iconic bottles were only up to 15L in size – the Nebuchadnezzar. Its large, unique bottles have become a staple for celebrations and victories worldwide, most notably amongst celebrities and other household names.

Celebrating the Belaire ZEUS, the bottles will meet fans through a global tour beginning in the U.S. Successful fans who are strong enough to lift the bottle will be awarded a prize. Moreover, the colossal wine bottle makes a perfect photo opportunity to mark its titanic creation.
