Ogilvy has hired Drew Warren from Ketchum, where he has worked for the past ten years most recently as Senior Vice President and marketplace leader in New York. Warrens newly created position at Ogilvy is as Executive Vice President, Global Public Relations, and influence lead on WPP’s Team, the cross-agency unit for Intercontinental Hotels Group.

Ogilvy is working alongside Hill+Knowlto Strategies and BCW, Drew Warrens initial place of work before joining Ketchum. The companies New York office manages the servicing of the hotel group’s mainstream upscale brands and hospitality account. WPP had won the hospitality account in December 2019 with Jaime Prieto as WPP’s global client leader of Team Intercontinental Hotel Groups.

“We have covered Drew’s responsibilities with internal leaders but we also will be announcing some exciting new hires in the coming weeks,” said a Ketchum representative. “Drew was an important member of the Ketchum community for many years, and we wish him the very best in this next chapter.”

Former US PR and influencer leader Michele Anderson left Ogilvy last month to join Edelman in Chicago.

Ogilvy’s 2018 PR revenue was US$387.5 million/£297,435,312.50, up 3% from the year prior, according to PRWeek’s Agency Business Report.
