Popular live shopping platform TikTok Shop has officially launched ‘Fulfilled by TikTok’, a dedicated same-day fulfilment option for the UK. Also known as FBT, the brand’s newest logistics programme will help sellers in the United Kingdom sell their products effortlessly and with little hassle.

Through Fulfilled by TikTok, TikTok Shop will personally handle a merchant’s product storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Hence, FBT relieves merchants of these time-consuming worries and concerns so they can prioritise other aspects to grow their business.

How Does Fulfilled by TikTok Work?

With an affordable, simple, and efficient service, merchants can process orders and grow their business and clientele. At launch, Fulfilled by TikTok offers automated same-day fulfilment for orders made before 7PM between Monday to Saturday.

Alternatively, the service offers a next working day delivery service, with a premium. Alongside that is an instant messaging service, plus dedicated customer service to manage customer feedback and ratings. 

For convenience, merchants can select their preferred volume of products or type of products to store with FBT. This flexibility allows merchants to control the items they want to store and ship using the service.

Fulfilled by TikTok is currently only eligible for sellers based in and delivering to the UK. Additionally, parcels must weigh below 30kg or 31.5 cubic litres. The service charges a certain fee, together with the option of various added-value services.

Since the launch of Fulfilled by TikTok, several TikTop Shop merchants have shared their positive experiences with the service.

UK-based TikTok Shop Creator and Merchant Sumayah shared, “FBT has been a game changer for us, streamlining processes and improving our business.” Sumayah added that FBT has helped reduce lead time, enabled faster order processing and deliveries, boosted order volumes, and attracted more customers.

Besides Sumayah, Ning Cheah, the Founder of The Beauty Crop, has also reaped its benefits. “Since using FBT, we’ve seen volumes increase by 30%, shipping lead times drop by 36% and late dispatch rates drop by over 45%. It’s made a huge difference.”

Given the growing nature of instant gratification, Fulfilled by TikTok bridges the gap between seeing something on screen and holding it in your hands almost immediately. With the introduction of FBT, TikTok’s position in the e-commerce market will have brands like Amazon and Shein keeping a close eye on them.
