TBWA\Chiat\Day has appointed Andrew Dauska as Managing Director of the agency’s Nissan account. In the capacity, he reports directly to TBWA\Chiat\Day LA President, Luis DeAnda.

He joins the network from Wunderman in Minneapolis. As SVP, Client Services Director at Wunderman, Andrew led the over 120-strong office and its charter client, BestBuy, working across several client business groups servicing both digital and owned channels.

Prior to Wunderman, he was Group Director, Brand Strategy and Integration at Barrie D’Rozario DiLorenzo where he developed go-to-market strategies for Dell and Wagner Spraytech. In his new role, he will oversee the Nissan business, one of TBWA\Chiat\Day’s largest roster clients.

The newly appointed MD also spent nearly eight years with Carmichael-Lynch, where he was Group Account Director and, later, Senior Partner, Director of Account Management.  He was a principal architect of the ‘Love’ campaign for Subaru of America.

He also advised brand teams on major strategic initiatives and creative development projects for clients like Jack Link’s Snacks, CITGO, Kellogg School of Management, Rubbermaid, Graco, and Calphalon. He began his career in account management at Campbell-Mithun in Minneapolis, and spent several years at Leo Burnett in Chicago.

“Andrew brings with him a wealth of strategic management experience and creative know-how across several key categories, not the least of which is automotive. He is also a veteran when it comes to building and leading large cross-functional agency teams. He is great asset for us and for Nissan. We are thrilled to have him,” said DeAnda.
