American rapper and actor Snoop Dogg is making a sweet entrance into the world of frozen delights, starting with Dr. Bombay Ice Cream. A global legendary hip-hop artist, the delightful desserts are one of his latest entrepreneurial endeavours, following liquor, cereal, and snacks.
“Ice cream is more than just a snack to me; it’s a way to chill, relax, and get happy. That’s exactly what I want Dr. Bombay Ice Cream to do—bring a smile to your face and ease your mind. I’ve poured my heart and soul into perfecting these first seven flavours, and I can’t wait for my fans and the world to experience what I’ve created.” shared Dogg in an official press release.
Dr. Bombay Ice Cream Flavours
With flavourful ingredients and punny ice cream names, the seven flavours are Bonus Track Brownie, Iced Out Orange Cream, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream, Tropical Sherbet Swizzle, Rollin’ In The Dough, Syrupy Waffle Sundaze, and S’More Vibes.
Featuring bright and playful ice cream tubs, the star of Dr. Bombay Ice Cream is not Snoop Dogg but Dr. Bombay – the rapper’s sidekick and iconic character. Designed originally as an NFT from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, it has evolved into a representation of modern art and culture. Now, it is the face, persona, and name of Dr. Bombay Ice Cream.
Dr. Bombay Ice Cream is the flagship product of Bosslady Foods, a parent company of Snoop Dogg and its business partner Happi Co. Much thought went into product development, as the ice cream flavours were mindfully selected by the brand’s founder himself, taking customers on a unique experience full of nostalgia.
Dr. Bombay Ice Cream is available in 3,500 Walmart stores across the United States currently. Eventually, the brand will expand to other American retailers such as Albertsons/Safeway, Gopuff, ShopRite, and Winn Dixie.
