The takeover increases the breadth and capabilities of the firm’s existing biomedical commercialisation and marketing services

Publicis Healthcare, under Publicis Groupe, has added to its stable by securing the acquisition PDI’s Commercial Services business (CSO). The move supports the agency’s objective to increase the breadth and capabilities of its existing biomedical commercialisation and marketing services.

Retaining its name, the brand has come on board as an extension of the network. The division will focus on building customised omnichannel healthcare sales, service, and clinical teams. While headquartered in New Jersey, the PDI CSO team reports to Nick Colucci, CEO of Publicis Healthcare Communications Group.

“We are thrilled to have PDI CSO join the Publicis Healthcare team. We believe they will extend our scale and enhance our abilities to serve the needs of our clients in the pharmaceutical biotech, devices, and diagnostics industries. We are excited to welcome the PDI CSO employees to our company,” said Colucci.

The acquisition gives Publicis Healthcare 3,500 healthcare professionals in the field directly deployed to meet clients’ needs. It also renders the global brand the most powerful base for outsourced healthcare promotional and marketing talent in the industry.
