Oral-B and Channel 4 have come together for a new campaign to show people how much plaque they have after brushing with a manual toothbrush.

Featuring stars from various Channel 4 shows such as First Dates, Celebs Go Dating and Hollyoaks, the campaign hopes to target young people aged between 16 and 34. The aim is to encourage consumers to switch to an electric toothbrush.

The ad shows one celebrity using a manual toothbrush and one using an electric toothbrush. Following brushing it is revealed that an electric toothbrush is more effective in removing plaque.

The marketing manager for Oral-B, Adam Parker commented: “The partnership with Channel 4 is the first of its kind for Oral-B and has enabled us to work with relatable talent who can show the younger audience exactly why an Oral-B electric toothbrush is key to unlocking better oral health.”
