Scott Watson has been elevated to Global Chief Creative Officer for Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide to lead the agency’s operations.

Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide, the health behaviour change specialists of Ogilvy & Mather, has promoted EVP, Chief Creative Officer of the New Jersey based arm, Scott Watson (pictured), to the position of Global Chief Creative Officer of the entire network to head the organisation’s operations.

The creative veteran has also been charged with managing the global collaboration of the creative leads across the network. He has been with the business since signing on with the group in 2005 as Chief Creative Officer of Carbon, which later became an Ogilvy CommonHealth agency.

Since 2006, Watson has supervised the agency’s creative teams and led its campaigns from conceptualisation to the execution of each individual client initiative. With 30 years of experience and many industry accolades under his belt, he has had quite an impressive career in healthcare marketing.

Starting out as a freelance art director for Hoffman-LaRoche in 1986, he continued to advance his creative career in this industry at Torre Lazur McCann, moving up from a group art supervisor to EVP, Creative Director—a post he held for six years before joining the Ogilvy & Mather network.

“Scott is creatively fearless and inspires the creative best in all of us. He works tirelessly to connect and amplify our global creative community and cares deeply about our people, clients, and the human impact of our work,” Matt Giegerich, Chairman and CEO of Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide.
