Currently trading as ResponseSource, activation of the new name enables consolidation between the London brand and its services

South London based media group, DWPub, has changed its name to ResponseSource in conjunction with the total rebrand the company recently initiated. The fresh title is derived from its famed Journalist Enquiry Service—a key reference point for thousands of reporters seeking to request information from the public relations community.

Established by former journalist, Daryl Willcox, and recognised since 1997 as Daryl Willcox Publishing, the move is designed to solidify the marque’s media-focused ethos and simplify how the business presents its various services. Previously, users had to navigate between numerous product platforms and a separate parent trademark.

The new direction allows the brand to switch from multiple websites to a single online portal in order to afford subscribers the offer of seamless transition between services. Meanwhile, the consolidation exercise also makes room for closer integration in the future.

“This company was built on a philosophy of putting journalists at the centre of what we do. That’s what sets us apart from others. Our ResponseSource brand embodies this thinking more than any other so it seemed perfect to use as our sole brand,” said Daryl Willcox, Founder and Chairman of ResponseSource.

The independent firm provides easy-to-use tools which connect public relations professionals and businesses to journalists, enabling them to give stories relevant coverage, hassle-free. Employing a team of approximately 50 employees, the ResponseSource office is headquartered in Croydon.
