Kenneth Cole has launched Black Bold, marking the evolution of a signature fragrance. Inspired by the spirit of New York, the new release celebrates masculine bravado. The scent is an ideal match for men always ready for a challenge and those who are driven to make an impact.
Steeped in power and confidence, the bottle’s design resembles a leather-wrapped exterior for a sleek finish and poised offering. The variant adds a fresh dimension to the marque’s iconic collection. According to the brand, Black Bold moment is intense, determined, and unexpected.
The luxury retailer collaborated with master perfumer, Harry Fremont of Firmenich, to craft a scent which delivers a formidable presence, whilst reflecting the beauty of human strength. The campaign around the product’s premiere was shot by New York photographer, Gregory Harris.
The aforementioned advertising exercise features model and artist, David Alexander Flinn, and is being supported by a robust print and digital component. The push brings to life the distinct citrus and herbal tones of Black Bold, alongside its touch of lotus flower, wood, and leathery musks.
Boasting a modern silhouette to complement the contemporary man, the bottle elements of Black Bold are inspired by the brand’s menswear. The fragrance will be available at Kenneth Cole stores, online, Macy’s, its website, and other retailers from the month of August.
“For more than 30 years, the company has embraced the essence of New York—its boldness, energy, and diversity. I wanted Black Bold to do just that; to celebrate individuals who are the protagonists in their own personal stories,” said Kenneth Cole, CEO of Kenneth Cole Productions.
