In response to the rising demand for options with less sugar, Danone North America has launched its Two Good low-fat Greek yogurt range.

The fresh Two Good release from Danone North America delivers the creaminess and low calories consumers expect from a high-quality yogurt. The new recipe uses a slow-straining process allowing the removal of most of the sugar from the milk before the yogurt is made.

With a hint of stevia, per standard serving packs 80 calories and two grammes of total milk-derived sugar. Gluten-free and non-GMO certified, Danone North America has rolled out Two Good with five flavours: strawberry, blueberry, vanilla, peach, and mixed berry.

Also, the marque recently unveiled Good Plants, a dairy-free almond milk probiotic yogurt alternative. With 40 percent fewer calories and a 70 percent sugar reduction compared to other products, flavours span strawberry, vanilla, chocolate coconut, and lemon meringue.

Danone North America has created a campaign to introduce consumers to Two Good in the yogurt aisle. Dubbed Do Good by You while a collaborative effort with VMLY&R, Revolution Digital, and Wavemaker, it includes television, online video, and social media components.

“Milk is the starting point for yogurt and sugar is naturally occurring in milk. We have been working hard to remove some of the naturally occurring sugar in milk so yogurt remains a preferred choice,” said Thierry St. Denis, Senior Director of Research and Innovation for Danone North America.
