In a series of video interviews, Parfums Christian Dior invites extraordinary women to recount their journeys and key moments that shaped their destinies

With the launch of its #DiorStandsWithWomen #DiorChinUp campaign, Parfums Christian Dior celebrates femininity marked by courage and sharing. In a series of video interviews, the Maison invites extraordinary women to recount their journeys and key moments that shaped their destinies. These memorable conversations have been conceived to both pass on experiences and inspire other women.

The history of Dior has been marked by myriad remarkable women, starting with Christian Dior’s sister Catherine Dior, a member of the Resistance who survived deportation. New generations of women are today carrying on this unique spirit at Parfums Christian Dior with exemplary commitment and achievements.

Actress Charlize Theron recognised for her social activism and the face of Parfums Christian Dior’s iconic J’adore fragrance, is a perfect example, as are Maria Grazia Chiuri, the first female artistic director for Dior womenswear and Carole Biancalana, a partner who produces flowers for Parfums Christian Dior in Grasse.

Passionate and engaged, each of these women is featured in the #DiorStandsWithWomen #DiorChinUp portrait series, which includes conversations with such inspiring women as dancer Parris Goebel, photographer Pamela Tulizo, doctor, professor and researcher Marina Cavazzana – a pioneer in gene therapy –actresses Li Bing Bing, Golshifteh Farahani, Yalitza Aparicio and Leyna Bloom, as well as Cara Delevingne.

They candidly reveal experiences that helped define who they are today and moments that shaped their destinies. These powerful testimonials aim to encourage other women to assert themselves and pursue bold initiatives.

In conjunction with the campaign, Parfums Christian Dior has decided to expand its support for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project and its new Youth Leaders Scholarship programme. Over the next four years, Parfums Christian Dior has committed to cover all tuition fees, room and board, books and laptop costs for scholarship recipients helping these future leaders – the majority of whom are young women – pursue their own exceptional journeys.
