Its soon launching news show called BizWireTV underscores the brand’s strategic production partnership with Al Roker Entertainment

Business Wire in collaboration with Al Roker Entertainment is set to premiere its upcoming bi-weekly web video news show, BizWireTV, on 16 October 2015. The said platform will cover trending news stories published across the brand’s distribution network. The series is set to feature two weekly episodes.

The first episode’s focus is disruptive start-ups and technologies, entrepreneurs in the start-up community, funding announcements, hot business trends, and companies to watch. Its suite of media analytics and social monitoring tools will be used to identify trending stories with the most resonance among readers and social influencers.

Meanwhile, its second, The Accelerator Report, will feature a preview of upcoming IPOs, scheduled earnings and recent funding announcements as well as trends to watch in the coming week. This endeavour moves Business Wire forward as a multimedia content brand.

The acclaimed Amy Feller is on board to executive produce BizWireTV. She comes on board following her executive producer stint on CNBC’s The Suze Orman Show. Prior to that, she served as senior broadcast producer on MSNBC. Her accolades include four regional Emmy Awards and two AP Best Newscast Awards.

The show’s host has been named with Erin Ade appointed to the role. She established her niche on ‘Boom Bust’ for RT America. She is an on-air personality with a strong presence and carries experience in reporting on disruptive companies and their impact on the markets.

A core component of the series’ video programming will be the use of news related data analysis powered by Business Wire’s NewsTrak reports, which offer detailed release metrics, audience engagement information, and social media tracking.

NUVI’s real-time analytics platform will provide insights into influencer conversations across numerous sources including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Delicious, Reddit, and more than 20 million RSS feeds. Al Roker Entertainment serves as the production unit for the shows.

“Business Wire has access to a powerful stream of business news content passing through our newswire on a daily basis. We will use our social and media monitoring tools to bring deeper insights into what we see driving the news conversations,” said Cathy Baron Tamraz, CEO of Business Wire.
