Insurance provider, Aviva Canada, has named Frederik Andersen of the Toronto Maple Leafs its ambassador. He is part of its new push.

Aviva Canada has named Toronto Maple Leafs goalie, Frederik Andersen, its ambassador. The athlete has signed an agreement to serve as spokesperson for the group’s home and auto insurance fan-branded programme.

Kicking off the partnership with a marketing campaign, supporters will see the professional hockey player featured in a series of digital commercials that has just rolled out. Further information on the brand’s offerings is available on a dedicated website.

“Freddie is our first overall draft pick and we are thrilled to have him on our line-up. We’re looking forward to working with him to represent our Maple Leafs Insurance portfolio, including special promotions and events for both fans and customers,” said Ben Isotta-Riches, Chief Partnerships Officer at Aviva Canada.
