Umbro has struck a multi-year deal with Orlando Pride’s Ashlyn Harris. The soccer athlete’s first campaign as ambassador debuts in the fall.

Iconix-owned soccer portfolio, Umbro, has entered into a multi-year deal with United States National Women’s Team member, Ashlyn Harris. Her first campaign as brand ambassador will premiere in the fall, and feature both on- and off-field apparel, alongside an array of legacy merchandise.

Shot in the athlete’s hometown of Cocoa Beach in Florida, where she plays for the Orlando Pride through the National Women’s Soccer League, the new marketing exercise encourages fans to share their passion for the game anytime and anywhere, whether it’s the beach, streets or school yards.

Harris will also appear in a series of custom videos for the marque and spread her love of football across the United States among athletes and non-athletes. The powerhouse goalie will guide supporters on incorporating the sport into their daily lives, with or without accessibility to a fancy field.

She will share her brand journey with her loyal following and spotlight exclusive content across the group’s digital channels. She will exclusively wear its cleats and gloves during her team games and work on product collaborations in line with the Umbro Premier slated to debut in spring 2018.

The push will see the portfolio continue to inject new product into the marketplace. As such, the fall collection will highlight heritage pieces including the diamond track jacket and boots, mixed with sports lifestyle apparel for men and women like t-shirts, leggings, joggers, sports bras, and tops.
