M&S have launched a campaign pushing Christmas jumpers, their biggest commercial category, instead of using celebrities to advertise the brand.
The new Christmas advert is set to House of Pain’s track ‘Jump Around’ and features its collection over 50 festive jumpers. The ad is a far cry from the tear-jerking commercials from high street shops of recent years, opting instead to advertise and sell their biggest asset – jumpers.
Nathan Ansell, M&S’s clothing and home marketing director commented, “This year our Christmas campaign really brings the changes we’re making at M&S in Clothing & Home to life – it’s all about great style and great value for the whole family.
“We’re backing with confidence our biggest commercial category for Christmas and importantly having some fun with our customers and colleagues. We can’t wait to see the nation Go Jumpers for Christmas.”
