With a 3,498 sq ft geographical area and £40,000 investment, the European footwear giant, Deichmann, kicks off its new store at Ashley Centre.
Just opposite Pandora, WHSmith, and Hotel Chocolat, Deichmann opens its new face to welcome footwear lovers. The £400K investment aims to provide a more spacious area for shopping, increasing customers’ experience by bringing modern shopping to life.
Deichmann also introduces more employment opportunities, with 16 new jobs to serve the brand’s grand opening.
The new Deichmann outlet will house all global categories, including men’s, women’s, and children’s shoes. Moreover, integrating a prominent worldwide brand is its top-notch strategy. Through this scheme, Deichmann will introduce product lines of other brands, such as Adidas, Fila, Nike, and Skechers. You can even find your fan-favourite collections by Ellie Goulding, Halle Berry, and Rita Ora.
Significantly, this inclusion at the Ashley Centre will give Deichmann proximity to other brands. Being surrounded by retail, food, and beverages, the brand will attract ample customers to its footwear outlet.
Simon Wilson, Managing Director for Product, Marketing, and Communications at Deichmann, commented: “Our latest store at the Ashley Centre is a huge investment. It will enable us to deliver our wide variety of products to a new community.
“The designed retail format has gone down particularly well over the last few months, and it’s exciting to launch the new concept within a destination also undergoing significant investment, making Epsom a strong addition to our portfolio.”
Louisa Butters, Head of Retail Asset Management UK at CBRE IM, added: “Deichmann is a solid brand to have as part of the Ashley Centre’s retail mix. Suiting multiple demographics and delivering an assortment of likeable brands, they are a fantastic addition to the scheme, utilizing a prominent space within the centre.
