India’s Scotch-Whisky company, USL-Diageo has introduced its largest global campaign, #LoveScotch, into Bangalore in conjunction with World Whisky Day. The launch welcomed Canadian supermodel and Global Brand Ambassador, Coco Rocha, and several other elite attendees including Dino Morea.

The movement celebrates Scotch as the world’s favourite whisky, with 95 million cases sold across 256 countries. With tastes, textures, and flavours second to none, it has been made the same way for more than five centuries in distilleries Scotland-wide. The #LoveScotch push is a revelry of the affinity felt globally.

Some of most renowned Scotches are with Diageo including Black Dog, Vat 69, Black & White, Johnnie Walker, Haig Club, Buchanan’s, Singleton, Lagavulin, and Talisker. The brands are crafted by highly-skilled makers who select choice whiskies from 29 distilleries and millions of maturing casks.

In Europe, the drink is served neat, while in South America it is enjoyed with coconut water. The Caribbean spotlights Scotch with tropical juices. In the United States, it is mixed in with cola or added as part of a cocktail. Meanwhile, in India, consumers have a strong appreciation for spices and exotic ingredients.
