The campaign’s uniqueness is unveiled when the Team USA athletes’ open their Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars to find hellos from home.

 Hershey’s has launched its first Olympic-themed advertising campaign. Dubbed Hello from Home, it welcomes three-time world all-around champion gymnast, Simone Biles, to the chocolate family. She joins gold medallists, Jordan Burroughs and Mallory Weggemann on the Team USA roster.

Featuring the athletes alongside their family and friends, the push showcases the contestants’ 2016 Rio Games journey as well as chronicles the importance of the prolific line-up. Delivering on connectedness, it also spotlights the role their supporters plays in the success of each sports performer.

The platform offers viewers an inside glimpse of the journey ahead. The uniqueness of the campaign is unveiled when the athletes’ open their iconic Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars to find hellos from home in the form of hand-written notes of encouragement and love from those closest to them.

Overall, there will be a #hellofromhome digital campaign, athlete videos and submission tools for fans to deliver a personalised message to Team USA as they train, compete at the trials, and pursue their Rio dreams. Consumers can use above hashtag to take the conversation to social media.

The Hershey Company is set to sponsor the United States Olympic Committee and support Team USA athletes through the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as the Pyeong Chang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
