Dyson has revolutionised the hair care industry with its innovative products like the Airwrap, setting a new standard for tech-driven styling tools. While previously known for vacuums and air purifiers, Dyson has now expanded its offerings to include hair care products, further disrupting the market and challenging competitors to innovate.

In addition, the brand has introduced its first-ever hair care products, the Chitosan Pre-Style Cream and Post-Style Serum, designed to complement its existing air-styling tools. Formulated with chitosan, a natural ingredient derived from oyster mushrooms, these products strengthen and protect hair without leaving it stiff.

Additionally, they feature triode technology, which provides flexible hold and prevents frizz, even in humid weather.

Furthermore, the Chitosan Pre-Style Cream reduces frizz, enhances shine, and protects hair from heat damage. When applied to damp hair, it provides nourishment with a blend of natural oils and beeswax. The cream is suitable for all hair types, and different formulas are available to cater to various textures and conditioning needs.

The Post-Style Serum protects hair from humidity and maintains styles for up to 12 hours. It contains amino acids to repair damaged hair and hyaluronic acid to moisturise. This serum suits all hair types, including colored and chemically treated hair.

Amy Johnson, head of education, stated, ‘We aim to simplify the styling process. Excessive product use can damage hair and cause styles to deteriorate. Dyson’s concentrated formula allows for precise application, minimizing over-styling risk and ensuring consistent results.

Next, the brand has introduced new hair care products and unveiled an updated version of its Airwrap styling tool. The new Airwrap features personalised settings for a more tailored styling experience.

The Airwrap i.d. is a new styling tool that connects to the MyDyson app to provide personalised curling recommendations based on user preferences. The app analyses hair type, length, texture, style retention, skill level, and styling goals to create a customized three-step routine. Priced at $599, the Airwrap i.d. will be available in several colors.

Dyson has launched three new attachments for its Airwrap styling tool: a conical barrel for creating tighter curls, a Wave + Curl diffuser for enhancing natural waves and curls, and a Blade concentrator for smoothing hair with a focused airflow.

Dyson’s Chitosan Pre-Style Cream and Post-Style Serum will be available on Dyson’s website starting Thursday, with a launch on Sephora’s website in August. The Airwrap i.d., along with its new attachments, will also be available on Dyson’s website beginning August 26.
