The sponsorship boosts New Balance’s presence in J League, fulfilling part of its growth plans for football across the continent
New Balance and FC Tokyo have announced, that the J-1 League side is to sign with the global sports brand for the start of the 2021 season, on a multi-year sponsorship deal.
New Balance will work alongside the capital city Tokyo based team to deliver world-class designs, including a bespoke offering for all technical kits and training apparel, as well as limited edition retail product.
We Got Now represents the next leg on the brand’s Fearlessly Independent journey and aligns to what both groups want to do together. The sponsorship boosts New Balance’s presence in J League, one of Asia’s top leagues – fulfilling part of its growth plans for football across the continent and further helping the brand become one of the top 3 global athletic brands.
Established in 1935, FC Tokyo has a compelling 85-year history – winning three Japanese domestic cup trophies.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said:

As part of the deal, FC Tokyo product will be sold through New Balance retail stores.
