New Balance We Got Now spots highlights the brand’s roster of world-renowned athletes, showcasing their individual talents within their respective sports and their desire to use their voices to enact positive change in the world
Global athletic leader New Balance launches a new We Got Now video as part of the brand’s campaign that started at the beginning of the year. The new campaign video features US tennis star and Team New Balance Athlete Coco Gauff and draws inspiration from her powerful, swift rise in the sport whilst using her platform to advocate for change. Coco’s We Got Now spot coincides with the return of the tennis majors.
Coco’s We Got Now spot highlights that although she is young in age, her game says otherwise and proclaims that “She’s here to lead the next generation.” The footage also includes Coco’s own voice calling for fans to “use your voice” and create the change you want, now. Coco is not waiting for permission, she is taking the stage now and making her voice heard on and off the court.
“Coco has established herself as a leading voice amongst Gen Z,” said Jeff McAdams, Senior Director of Global Marketing at New Balance. “Her dedication on and off the court continues to exemplify the We Got Now mantra and we are proud to help Coco elevate her voice, through this campaign and beyond. Throughout this campaign, we have worked closely with our athletes to ensure each spot represented his or her individual voice and fearlessly proclaimed that the future is shaped now – and together with our athletes we are staking our claim.”
Past New Balance We Got Now spots have highlighted the brand’s roster of world-renowned athletes, showcasing their individual talents within their respective sports but also their desire to use their voices to enact positive change in the world. Coco’s spot builds on that storyline and shows her impressive rise to become the youngest player ranked in the top 100.
Coco’s We Got Now spot represents the fourth episode in New Balances’ campaign that captures the brand’s impact across sports and culture. Similar to past episodes, Coco’s We Got Now spot will launch globally across social, digital and retail channels including a Coco experience page on their website.
The Rec League, a Los Angeles-based creative & production agency, conceived and produced the campaign, which shows Coco dominating on the court but also as an emerging leader amongst younger generations.
