In line with its Overdeliver campaign, Pizza Hut will celebrate families having their first baby during the Big Game with a social media push.

Pizza Hut will highlight the unsung heroes of Super Bowl Sunday—the families making their own special deliveries in labour wards across America. As sponsor of the National Football League, it will reward the parents of the first baby born after the Big Game kick-off.

Winners will receive free pizza for a year and tickets to the next Super Bowl. To enter, couples with new arrivals during the game must post a photo of their baby on Twitter, provide the exact time of birth, tag the brand, and include the #PizzaHutSpecialDelivery hashtag.

For submissions to be considered, no Pizza Hut purchase is necessary. The promotion is an extension of the brand’s Overdeliver campaign launched recently. The digital push will also offer a 20 percent discount on Super Bowl Sunday pizza orders via the NFL Shop retail site.

“We wanted to show up for our fans in the position of expanding their family during the biggest NFL game of the year. As a mother of four, I would’ve jumped at the idea of free post-delivery pizza at the hospital,” said Marianne Radley, Chief Brand Officer of Pizza Hut.
