Steve Alberts has been appointed by creative communications agency, Lumentus, as Senior Account Director, Digital Strategy.

Communications group, Lumentus, has appointed digital communications veteran, Steve Alberts, as Senior Account Director, Digital Strategy. He brings to the agency two decades of experience in driving content development programmes and marketing engagement across multiple industries.

He was most recently a digital engagement strategy director at DDB Health and the Bloc. At the healthcare-led creative firms, he managed coordinated customer experience initiatives, built websites, led customer relationship management programmes, and spearheaded social strategies, among other tasks.

Alberts formerly also ran the United States digital practice of MerchantCantos, which is the creative communications shop under the Brunswick Group. During said stint, he developed strategies as well as expanded and nurtured digital relationships for numerous Fortune 500 brands and organisations.

He kicked off his digital career in 1997, beginning with RareMusic and Comedy Central. He subsequently entered the agency space and worked at firms like Grey Health, Edelman, and Burson-Marsteller. Former clients serviced include Colgate, Pfizer, Bayer, Kythera, FedEx, Hormel Foods, and more.
