FH (FleishmanHillard) has elevated Mette Grolleman to Brussels lead. She replaces, Caroline Wunnerlich, who held the role for two decades.

FH has elevated Mette Grolleman to General Manager at the Brussels office. She steps into the role on 1 May to succeed Caroline Wunnerlich, who will join a roster of senior advisors and serve as chair of the communications network’s Brussels Advisory Board.

Grolleman entered the firm in 2017 as SVP and offered senior counsel on reputational and regulatory issues at the European level. She acted as advisor in the European Commission earlier in her career and was a financial counsellor at the Danish Permanent Representation to the European Union before that.

Wunnerlich transitions after 26 years with FH. Overseeing two decades of agency growth to a market leadership position, she spent twenty years as Brussels GM. She was vice chair on the European Public Affairs Consultancy Association committee from 2010 to 2015.

“Mette is an inspired choice to take over from Caroline. I know she will work closely with other outstanding leaders in Brussels for a smooth transition and continuity. I am thrilled Caroline will remain with us in an advisory capacity,” said John Saunders, President of FH.
