The YU7 represents Xiaomi’s strategic expansion into the electric SUV segment following the success of its SU7 sedan. The vehicle’s design has drawn comparisons to luxury models such as the Ferrari Purosangue, mainly due to features like the hood’s contour, straight daytime running lights bisecting the headlights, and pronounced wheel arches.

The YU7 measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The SUV is powered by a dual-motor setup, delivering a combined output of 681 horsepower (508 kW), enabling it to reach a top speed of 253 km/h. Xiaomi plans to officially launch the YU7 in the Chinese market around mid-2025, with expectations set for June or July.
