The push begins with the #Minute50 promotion, marking the lead-up to an engaging experience across the San Francisco Bay Area

Verizon has rolled out a new campaign in conjunction with the Big Game to offer subscribers a vast array of exclusive opportunities to gain access to all things NFL and Super Bowl. The push begins with its #Minute50 promotion leading to an all-encompassing experience across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Targeting fans on the ground and coast to coast, from once-in-a-lifetime experiences with players, and tickets to the game to its superior network in the Bay area and at the Stadium, the telco promises unprecedented coverage, speed, and reliability for its customers.

“Super Bowl is the pinnacle of sporting events and this celebration makes the build up to the game even bigger. We’re making sure Verizon’s activation programmes provide our customers with unprecedented access and experiences far better than any other network can provide,” said John Nitti, Chief Media Officer at Verizon.

From 24 January to 7 February 2016, the campaign will reward Verizon customers every hour on the fiftieth minute. It will run both nationally and locally in San Francisco with a total of 336 prizes up for grabs including Super Bowl 50 tickets, NFL Merchandise, free data, TVs and, tickets to Super Bowl LI.

The carrier is offering major wins throughout Super Bowl Week at the Verizon Access Zone. It features Game Winner, an interactive and immersive experience for a chance to throw a game-deciding pass, a station featuring NFL Mobile content on go90, and charging stations.

The platform also includes a ‘Switching Station’ for those interested in switching to Verizon and a #Minute50 wall showcasing prizes, winners as well as a countdown clock. Super Bowl 50 will be streamed live via NFL Mobile from Verizon, available to users at no additional charge on Windows, Apple, and Android smartphones.
