Turkish Airlines is set to begin flights between Istanbul and Phnom Penh on December 10, 2025, introducing the first-ever regular connection linking Europe and Cambodia’s capital city.
This service, becoming the seventh flag carrier to operate flights to Phnom Penh, aims to strengthen trade relations between Türkiye and Cambodia, offering a boost to the Cambodian economy.
The airline plans to run three weekly flights to Phnom Penh, with a stopover in Bangkok. Departures from Istanbul are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while return flights from Phnom Penh will take off on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The addition of Phnom Penh flights will extend Turkish Airlines’ Far East network to include 20 cities and 21 airports, providing passengers with more convenient access to one of Southeast Asia’s prominent destinations.
Commenting on the new route, Prof. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee at Turkish Airlines, stated, “Expanding our network in Asia and enhancing connections with key destinations in the region is a constant priority for us at Turkish Airlines. The introduction of flights to Phnom Penh is a major milestone in achieving this goal. These flights will open up fresh possibilities for tourism and business in Cambodia. Furthermore, as the sole European airline serving this destination, we are reinforcing our leadership in the region.”
Tickets are available for booking until July 31, 2025, for travel up to June 30, 2026, with fares starting at US$659 (£522) for Istanbul to Phnom Penh flights and US$649 (£514) for Phnom Penh to Istanbul flights. Prices can be found on Turkish Airlines’ official website and may differ at ticket offices and travel agencies.
