The video went viral upon launch, garnering more than 240,000 views and an organic reach of 1.2 million Facebook impressions

Portuguese airline, TAP, recently rolled out a 2015 promotional video titled, Jingle Bells, in conjunction with the festive season. A customised passenger greeting designed to evoke good cheer in time for the holidays, the clip has since generated a significant amount of buzz over social media.

Dubbed a unique delivery, the execution draws inspiration from the daily sounds heard on its planes while in flight. An innovative fusion of the various frequencies, the commercial developed for the digital space, showcases the aviation company’s creative remix of the classic Christmas melody.

Using aircraft reverberations, the video embodies the yuletide spirit in an artistic audible to wish its customers a happy celebration throughout auspicious spell leading up to New Year’s Day. Captured on board an A330 carrier known as the Pedro Teixeira, TAP employees were engaged to star in the shoot.

Launched earlier in December, the video went viral in Portugal prior to press investment, garnering more than 240,000 views overall and an organic reach of 1.2 million impressions on Facebook. Meanwhile, it invited some 25,000 YouTube views, quickly winning the advertisement popularity under the media spotlight.

A member of Star Alliance, the brand’s network currently covers 81 destinations across 34 countries worldwide, operating approximately 2,500 weekly flights on average over a modern fleet of 61 Airbus aircraft. In operation since 1945, TAP celebrated 70 years on 14 March 2015.
