The debut represents its fourth property in the region since launching The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi four years ago
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has launched the brand into the UAE with the official opening of The St. Regis Dubai. Owned by the Al Habtoor Group, it promises uncompromising experiences met with bespoke hospitality, culinary venues, a fleet of Bentleys, and the country’s first Iridium spa and Bentley Suite in the Middle East.
The property is located within Al Habtoor City, the Emirate’s first fully-integrated urban resort. While the development is minutes away from attractions such as the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, it is no more than a 20- and 40-minute drive to Dubai International Airport Al Maktoum International Airport respectively.
As the newest address on Sheikh Zayed Road, the enclave is set to feature two other Starwood hotels under the W Hotels and Westin brands, three residential towers, and a water-themed show by Dragone, a leading cultural creation company situated along the upcoming Dubai Water Canal.
“The entry of our ultra-luxury St. Regis brand in this important market strengthens Starwood’s presence in the United Arab Emirates as we remain on track to double our portfolio in the region by 2019,” said Michael Wale, President of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Europe, Africa, and Middle East.
