The Skechers store is part of the launch of a new 500,000 square foot centre in Manhattan’s latest dining, retail, and entertainment hotspot.

Performance footwear giant, Skechers USA, has opened a flagship store in the heart of the World Trade Center’s new shopping district. The outlet is an integral part of the launch of a new 500,000 square foot centre—Manhattan’s latest dining, retail, and entertainment hotspot.

Located along the main level of the West Concourse, near the WTC Transportation Hub, the store will be a key tourist destination, while home to more than 350,000 daily visitors in the area. Consumers can purchase products with the mobile pay option available.

Dressed with black granite floors and large-scale graphics as well as LED-lit shelves, fixtures, and storefront displays, the outlet is set to showcase the brand’s lifestyle offering for men and women, a Skechers Performance section with shoes and apparel, and its Kids Fun Zone.

“The centre’s new stores read like a who’s who list of iconic global brands. Consumer interest is already tremendous, the foot traffic will be massive, and we can’t wait to welcome the swarms of locals and tourists daily,” said Michael Greenberg, President of Skechers.
