He’s part a new push themed GOLF SCHOOL which features three other golf pros—Belén Mozo, Billy Andrade, and Colin Montgomerie

Skechers Performance, under Skechers USA, has initiated a multi-year contract extension with professional golfer, Matt Kuchar. In addition to representing the brand’s GO GOLF line on the PGA TOUR and for its global marketing campaigns, he will continues to work closely with the company to develop new golf footwear.

A seven-time champion, the athlete has played an integral role in the technical development of Skechers GO GOLF footwear, bringing significant awareness to the overall golf division. He launched the Skechers GO GOLF Pro with a comedic series of television spots titled, GOLF Tips with Matt Kuchar.

The movement gained the industry’s attention and won the International Network of Golf (ING) 2015 Industry Honors award. He has since followed up with a new campaign themed GOLF SCHOOL, which includes several Skechers Performance golf pros such as Belén Mozo, Billy Andrade, and Colin Montgomerie.

Spectators will get a first look at the new spring 2017 Skechers GO GOLF Pro 2 this week, as Kuchar steps up to tee off. He will debut the model, as will Skechers Performance pro and 2016 PGA TOUR winner, Russell Knox. Offering a premium upgrade, the collection will be available in two waterproof leather uppers.

“Our partnership with Matt has been invaluable in growing our golf business. His input on developing the footwear has helped us build some of the most competitive golf shoes on the market. On top of that, he is a first-class guy to work with,” said Rick Higgins, SVP, Merchandising/Marketing at Skechers Performance.
