Samsung Canada drives users to master their fears. The #BeFearless VR experiences have seen over 300,000 downloads worldwide.

Samsung Canada has launched #BeFearless, an immersive experience designed to help users reach master two of the most common fears—heights and public speaking—to reach their full potential. Featuring the Galaxy S7 and GearVR, it was developed in partnership with Facebook and Oculus.

The virtual reality series creates a controlled environment. Across the heights module, participants encounter levels that gradually increase in difficulty—from a glass elevator to a drive along a cliff. The public speaking scenarios include conversations, interviews, presentations, and virtual karaoke.

Through the initiative, the brand follows Canadians as they drive themselves to overcome personal to inspire others. The #BeFearless gamified experiences have seen over 300,000 downloads worldwide. Downloadable for free via the Oculus Gear VR store, module demos are also available at stores.
