As Samsung rolls out its new flip-flop Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, it adopts a creative way to advertise this new launch. To drive awareness, its creator, Iris, hung a vertically held 3D foldable phone to the front of a large-format digital billboard.
Adding to the latest lineup of Samsung’s foldable series, these smartphones offer a unique foldable experience with a pocket-size fit.
With countless customization options, the phones offer strong performance and a powerful battery. From its FlexCam to its sleek design, these foldable series are a perfect pocketable self-expression tool.
Pioneer of Foldable Innovation Brings Hovering Flip Phone on Digital Billboard
This larger-than-life campaign is not something one would expect from Samsung. But illustrating it with a distinctive factor is worth appreciating.
Samsung became the pioneer of foldable smartphones by launching the Galaxy Fold in 2019. Taking its legacy to the next level, Samsung came up with a strong strategic campaign, communicating its standards, value, and worth.
Annika Bizon, Marketing and Omnichannel Director at Samsung, said, “Our latest launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 represents the next stage in our evolution. It is about engaging, not telling consumers what they can expect from our latest foldable devices.
“With that in mind, what better way to bring to life this campaign, than with a powerful OOH activation in the form of 3D billboards across the UK with our Samsung ambassadors Raheem Sterling and Fearne Cotton.”
In the massive 3D foldable campaign, present are Samsung brand ambassadors Raheem Sterling and Fearne Cotton. The campaign shows how they interact with the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5. Following this cherry-on-top involvement of ambassadors, Sterling is seen intensely involved in an action-packed game while Cotton enjoys yoga in front of her phone.
Moreover, the Clear Channel production gets a physical demonstration via 3D billboards in Richmond, Canary Wharf, Manchester, and Liverpool. Besides that, Starcom is responsible for media planning and buying.
