The latest addition to the Waikiki skyline, the new Ritz-Carlton property features ocean views, global cuisines, and innovative facilities.

 The Ritz-Carlton Residences has opened its Waikiki Beach property to a new wave of global travellers. Situated on the island of Oahu, the residential resort is the latest addition to the Waikiki skyline, and features experiences that include ocean views, global cuisines, and innovative facilities.

Architect Guerin Glass designed the 38-storey tower showcase stunning artful details and inspired craftsmanship. The exterior reflects the ocean and sky, while and the exterior depicts a vista of mountains and Honolulu’s urban metropolis. A three-dimensional motif covers the first three floors.

With decorative touches from Jon Brent Design, the getaway captures contemporary decor and modern luxury throughout the establishment and its 307 studios, residential accommodations, and penthouses. The location is set against a backdrop of the Pacific and boasts high-end features.

Amenities include the city’s highest infinity pool with private cabanas and a premier fitness centre by celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak. The Ritz-Carlton Spa will open in September to offer customised treatments which incorporate cultures and traditions around the world.

The new Ritz-Carlton hotel is set to feature American-inspired gastronomy by Executive Chef, Johan Svensson, across its breakfast, lunch, and dinner servings. The menu is influenced by the best of the season’s bounty sourced from the local purveyors and growers who supply the freshest farmers’ markets.

“Our journey on this monumental project started three years ago, and it is an honour to celebrate this momentous occasion with everyone involved in transforming The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach from a vision to reality,” said Lance Wilhelm, Managing Principal of Irongate, developer of The Residences.

The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai was a winner at the 2014-2015 World Branding Awards under the Hotel (National) category.
