Fashion and footwear retailer, Payless, is jazzing up holiday shopping with a series of pop-up retail stores, the latest of which is in New York.

Footwear and accessories juggernaut, Payless, has opened its first holiday pop-up in New York City. Located at 136 W 42nd Avenue, between Times Square and Bryant Park, it is offering special deals on shoes, handbags, and accessories over the festive season.

Also, the group has rolled out eight additional pop-ups America-wide. Each a temporary setup, the sites deliver a contemporary look and feel through the use of large industrial spaces and fresh design elements, more so than the traditional brick-and-mortar spots.

Payless is inviting patrons to visit during the Black Friday weekend to explore the new concept and refuel with complimentary snacks—to break away from the usual hustle and bustle. Meanwhile, shoppers still have the option to access all of the same styles online.

“We’ve got some exciting things going on and the pop-ups are just one of the many projects we’re working on. This is what it looks like when a sixty-year-old company steps out of its comfort zone and has a little fun,” said Sara Couch, Head of Marketing at Payless.
