Andrea Romero joins Ogilvy Public Relations with experience in high-level media relations across various sectors and geographies.
Ogilvy Public Relations has named Andrea Romero (pictured) to the role of Vice President of Corporate Communications, USA, effective immediately. She joins from ProColombia, the tourism, investment, and exports promotion arm of the Colombian government and client of the group.
Based out of New York, she reports directly to Jennifer Risi, Global Chief Communications Officer and Managing Director of Ogilvy Media Influence. Romero will support Risi’s global communications vision and strategy to drive awareness and its leadership within this key market.
Her key duties will include external (traditional media, social media management, and stakeholder engagement) as well as internal communications, content creation, website development, and overall day-to-day management of the Ogilvy Public Relations brand in the United States.
She brings with her over a decade of experience, having worked with senior executives and government leaders to create integrated marketing and communication strategies to build brand awareness, drive stakeholder engagement, and enhance the overall consumer experience.
