The Joker character from the famed Persona 5 game has joined Super Smash Bros Ultimate for Nintendo Switch as a playable DLC fighter.
Nintendo has revealed that Joker from the Persona 5 game will be joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate as a DLC fighter. The character will be included in the first of five planned packs. Each will contain one playable fighter, a new stage, and an array of music tracks.
The Persona games are a spinoff of the popular Shin Megami Tensei franchise, which has a long history in gaming. Sporting a mask and wielding weapons, Joker is the main character of Persona 5. The digital version of Super Smash Bros Ultimate is now on Nintendo eShop.
The physical version has launched in stores. In the crossover event, all Super Smash Bros fighters have returned and are joined by newcomers like Daisy from Super Mario, Chrom from Fire Emblem, Inkling from Splatoon, and Ken from Street Fighter, and many others.
Gamers who purchase and register a Super Smash Bros Ultimate game with My Nintendo by 31 January will receive Piranha Plant as a free playable fighter.
