The marque will further the brand’s position by driving camera users to its offerings, allowing one to create better memories
Nikon has rolled out an integrated brand advertising campaign themed Show Your Love Some Love. Aimed at encouraging people to share their inner passions through images, the exercise has kicked off with a television commercial titled World of Likes. The overall concept was developed by Cramer-Krasselt.
Research by firm found that there is a strong desire to go ‘all in’ on hobbies. However, many do not document their passions with the same care employed when creating or participating in them. As such, the campaign promises to help one distinguish between quality photography and any other image.
The push signifies an evolution in direction for the brand. Celebrating a generation comprised of image-capturing enthusiasts, the marque is set on further cultivating the trend by driving camera users to its offerings, which in turn allows one to create better memories and longer lasting personal stories.
“Show Your Love Some Love is about tapping into the intense emotional connection between us and our passions—the things we live for and the amazing stories behind them,” said Lisa Baxt, Associate General Manager of Communications at Nikon.
Creatives are scheduled to appear on-air, across cinema, digital, and print in the United States. Meanwhile, consumers are invited to join the conversation using the #NikonLove hashtag. From 21 March 2016, selected submissions will be featured in a gallery via Nikon’s website.
“In an age where we communicate largely through images, likes have become a form of social currency, the things that one truly loves should stand out and be captured and shared with the best possible image quality,” said Baxt.
