The newly named JP Schuerman has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence in San Francisco and Los Angeles

MWW Public Relations has promoted JP Schuerman (pictured) to the role of President of the business’ Western Region. Since joining MWWPR in 2012, he has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence in San Francisco and Los Angeles, growing the network across said the market.

He has also helped strengthens the agency’s consumer, technology, travel, and LGBT practices via significant client wins. He will continue his focus on organic growth across the client roster while expanding firm-wide offerings which include a global LGBT capability and entertainment work promoting film, television, and digital content.

In addition, Schuerman serves on MWWPR’s executive committee and spearheads cultural initiatives across the brand. In his role as President of the Western Region, Schuerman will oversee the Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas offices, as well as the company’s national LGBT, travel, and West Coast technology practice groups.

“As we continue to expand our business across new geographies and service offerings, it is critical that we have an executive who can successfully oversee our expansion while ensuring we continue to exceed our clients’ expectations and inspire our employees every day,” said Michael Kempner, President and CEO of MWW.

Prior to his current appointment, Schuerman served as Executive Vice President, General Manager of the Western Region. Outside of his work at MWWPR, Schuerman has taught graduate coursework as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
